  • Evony Events Disappeared? What Happened to the Calendar – Halloween & Black Friday Adjustments Explained

Evony Events Disappeared? What Happened to the Calendar – Halloween & Black Friday Adjustments Explained Welcome back to Empire Build Academy! I'm Favian, and if you're an Evony player who's been scratching your head wondering where all the events went, you're not alone. This morning, I thought I was losing it—logging in to tackle some last-minute quests, only to find the event tab completely empty. No Sulis Wishing Pool, no Trial of Knights, nothing. Turns out, it's a game-wide shake-up tied to the upcoming Halloween and Black Friday events. In this post, we'll break down what happened, why events like Arctic Barbarians and Poseidon vanished, and how to stay ahead of the curve. Let's dive in! The Mystery: Why Did Evony Events Suddenly Disappear? Picture this: You're geared up for a quick grind on events like the Consuming Return (which I luckily finished for those sweet stamina and resource boxes) or the Trial of Knights (where I planned to burn some Blood of Ares for easy rewards). But poof—gone. The main event list? Blank. The Valuable Events tab? Missing key ones like Sulis Wishing Pool.I double-checked for updates (none), restarted the app (no dice), and even pinged a knowledgeable friend on my list—shoutout to Bleach on server SAW (Level 43 beast!). Their insight? Evony's devs are adjusting the event calendar to fast-track into seasonal blowouts like Halloween and Black Friday. This isn't a glitch; it's a deliberate speed-up they do periodically to align with holidays. From what we've seen in past updates (like the 2025 Viking Festival or Spring Festival tweaks), Evony often reshuffles events to keep things fresh and timed for big promotions. No official announcement hit my notifications (and yeah, I sometimes skip those), but community chatter confirms it's widespread. Affected Events : What Got the Chop?Several popular events got pulled early to make room for the holiday rush. Here's a quick rundown of the ones I noticed missing—and how they might've impacted you: Sulis Wishing Pool: A resource jackpot! I used my one wish just in time and scored 7.2 billion resources—talk about luck. If you had an unused wish, oof—that's a big miss. Trial of Knights : Great for grinding generals like Marcus Agrippa or Lu Jun to higher levels. I skipped it since mine are at 5, but it was on my "quick rewards" list. Arctic Barbarians : Monster-hunting fun with solid loot drops. If you were farming this, the sudden end might've left you short on buffs. Poseidon Event : Ocean-themed gathering and rewards. (Full disclosure: I never touch these—too grindy for my style.) Quest for Treasure : This one's still kicking during the server-vs-server lull, so jump in if you haven't. Other regulars like Consuming Return wrapped up fine for me, but if you were mid-progress on any, check your inventory—some rewards might've auto-claimed or vanished. Pro Tip: Bookmark an Evony event calendar tool like Theria Games' custom planner to track shifts in real-time. It helps avoid these surprises and syncs with your alliance. Why the Change? Prepping for Halloween and Black Friday in Evony Evony's event tweaks aren't new—they ramp up for holidays to drop exclusive goodies like themed decorations, generals, and massive resource packs. Bleach nailed it: This speed-up ensures everything lines up perfectly for: Halloween Events : Expect spooky summons, ghost hunts, and limited-edition skins. Past years brought buffs to defense troops and alliance rallies—perfect for PvP chaos. Black Friday Sales : Deep discounts on gems, speed-ups, and VIP perks. It's prime time to stockpile for endgame pushes. These adjustments happen "quite often," per community vets, to balance routine events (like weekly Monarch Competitions) with seasonal hype. The goal? Keep Evony engaging without overwhelming players during peak times. If you missed out, don't sweat—upcoming drops like the 2025 Wine Festival (kicking off soon) will bring fresh opportunities. Player Impact : Did This Hit Your Grind? This calendar shift caught me off-guard, but I dodged the bullet on Sulis. What about you? Events like Trial of Knights were low-stakes for me, but for others, it might mean lost progress on blood diamonds or general shards. Some players hit up customer service—were they helpful, or did you get the runaround? Drop your stories in the comments : Which event stung the most? Unused wishes or skipped rewards? How are you prepping for Halloween? I'll be reading every one—let's commiserate and share tips! Stay Prepared : Tips for Navigating Evony Event ChangesTo avoid future "where'd it go?" moments: Enable Notifications : Turn on in-game alerts for calendar updates—don't be like me skipping emails! Join Communities : Discord, Reddit's r/Evony_TKR, or in-game friends like Bleach are gold for real-time intel. Daily Check-Ins : Log in early for time-sensitive events; auto-claims save the day. Diversify Your Goals: Balance event grinds with core tasks like subordinate city upgrades. And hey, tune into my Allstar Battlefield streams for live event breakdowns—I'll be going hard soon! Wrapping Up : Evony's Event Evolution Keeps It Fresh Evony's event disappearance was a curveball, but it's all in service of epic Halloween and Black Friday fun. We dodged a glitch, gained some insight, and now we're event-ready. Huge thanks to Bleach for the heads-up—community makes the game. What events are you eyeing next? • New Ranged General Hatshepsut on Evony

Hatshepsut on Evony Welcome to Empire Build Academy! I’m Favian, and today we’re diving into the latest Evony: The King's Return update featuring two new ranged generals released on Friday, August 22, 2025. I had to ask Alexa to pronounce the first one—Hatshepsut so hopefully she did well, haha. If you’re new here, welcome! I create guides for mobile war strategy games like Evony, and subscribing keeps you updated. Check empirebuildacademy.com for blog versions and my nine-step guide process. Discovering the New Generals The new generals are part of the Historic General Summoning event, now housed under the Heavenly Fire Ceremony in the Event Center. Let’s break them down. Hatshepsut : The Star Ranged General Event Boost : 600% increased chance to summon, plus boosts for premium general tokens. Reward Odds : 17.5% chance for Hatshepsut , 7.5% for three others, and 2.5% for lower tiers. Normal Stats : +55% range troop attack and HP when leading attacks. +40% range troop and siege machine defense with a dragon or spiritual beast. Ascensions : 1-Star : +10% range troop attack and defense. 2-Star : 8% attacking troop death-to-wound rate. 3-Star : +15% range troop attack, +6% march size capacity. 4-Star : +15% range troop/siege machine attack, +15% range troop HP. 5-Star : +35% attacking range troop attack and defense, additional march size capacity. Specialties : +10% range troop attack and defense. +10% attacking siege machine/range troop attack. +10% range troop attack, HP, and defense. +55% attacking range troop attack, +40% siege machine/range troop defense, +40% HP. Covenant : Adds attacking range troop HP, training speed, reinforcing attack/defense, and +5% march size capacity (totaling 25%). General Skin : -5% enemy ground/mounted troop HP, +8% attacking range troop attack when rallying. Verdict : With 25% march size capacity, Hatshepsut is solid for range-focused players. I’m sticking with Marcus Aurelius for now—75 tokens feel risky, and I’m holding out for a wall general. Ahmose I : The Lesser Option Special Skill : +55% range troop attack and defense, +40% HP when leading. Ascensions : Include minimal march size capacity boosts (around 15% total). Specialties : Less impressive, with no standout features. Covenant : Present but lacks a special skin. Verdict : Outshined by Hatshepsut's better march size and skin benefits, Ahmose I is unlikely to attract much attention. Strategic Considerations Hatshepsut 25% march size capacity is decent but has been surpassed by past releases (30%-40%). Decide if she fits your range strategy or wait for a stronger general. I’m saving tokens, hoping for a wall general soon. Final Thoughts Hatshepsut stands out as a viable range general, while Armos lags behind. Share your thoughts in the comments—will you chase Hatshepsut, hold off for bigger boosts, or target something else? Subscribe for more Evony updates, and I’ll see you in the next video soon. • Evony Sea Rush Challenge 2025 Guide: Tips, Rewards, and Strategies

Sea Rush Challenge on Evony Welcome to Empire Build Academy! I’m Favian, and today I’m diving into the new Evony: The King's Return event, the Sea Rush Challenge, recorded on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 03:15 PM BST. If you’re new here, welcome! I create guides for mobile strategy war games like Evony, and subscribing helps my channel grow. Check out empirebuildacademy.com for more resources, including Horus event answers listed alphabetically and in a table. Overview of the Sea Rush Challenge With so many events in Evony, the Sea Rush Challenge adds another chance for awesome rewards. Accessible via the icon above the castle wall, this event features mystical islands hidden in sea fog. Each region opens weekly, requiring players to conquer stages with varying troop types. Let’s break it down based on the in-game info. Event Details Rotation : Regions unlock weekly—check event times. Stages : Most require one victory to clear; some need two out of three. Troop Setup : Select at least one general and troop type (e.g., ground, archers). Unlock higher tiers via barracks levels. Major troop types can be sent in large numbers, while non-major types are limited but boostable with event buffs. March Size : Caps at your capacity; buffs increase limits. First Clear Rewards : Earned per stage on first completion. Sweep Function : Unlocks from week two for cleared stages, offering sweep rewards. Difficulty : Decreases near season’s end for easier clears. Buffs : Sea Resonance Stones boost event buffs (reset seasonally, event-specific only). Currency : Ocean Wave Coins redeem items in the shop (limits reset seasonally). Rankings : Track progress on my server, neighbor server, and all servers (refreshes every 5 minutes; first clears rank higher). Gameplay and Strategy This event echoes the Expedition feature but with a nautical twist. Let’s explore the interface and tactics. Interface Breakdown Event Buff : Requires Sea Resonance Crystals (unlocks later). Island Journey : Offers rewards and optional packs. Redeem Shop : Features familiar rewards (details emerge with progress). Charts : Leaders like Young (425 stages) and Draxton (397 stages) top the ranks; I’m at 125/500 (68th). Battling Stages I tested the Frostbound Tundra region with ground troops: Setup : Used Lu Xuan as the main general, Swain as assist, and maxed T14 ground troops (34,580 capacity, unaffected by a 480 buff attempt). Process : Auto-challenge sped through stages. Power gaps (e.g., 428M vs. 33K at stage 7) made early rounds easy. Experience : Reached stage 120 effortlessly. It’s a repetitive, click-heavy event—auto-challenge or an auto-clicker is ideal. I stepped away, returning to show progress. Observations Boredom Factor : This is one of Evony’s least engaging events, lacking interactivity beyond clicking. Progress : Top players are nearing 500 stages, while I’m pacing steadily. Future regions (e.g., archers) unlock in 1-2 days. Tip : Set auto-challenge, walk away, and check back later—manual clicking is tedious. Rewards and Community Input Rewards include first clears, sweeps, and shop items, though specifics need more playtime. Share your thoughts in the comments—how far have you progressed? Are you using auto-clickers or letting it run? Have any players hit all 500 stages? Your insights will shape future updates on empirebuildacademy.com. Final Thoughts The Sea Rush Challenge offers free rewards, but its monotony stands out. Leverage auto-features to save time. If you enjoy this content, subscribe, and I’ll see you in the next video soon. Thanks for watching! • Evony New General Guide 2025: Mastering Francis Drake - Empire Build Academy

Francis Drake Evony Welcome to Empire Build Academy! I’m Favian, and today we’re diving into the latest addition to Evony: The King's Return with our guide on the new siege general, Francis Drake. If you’re new here, welcome! I create detailed mobile strategy guides for games like Evony, and this post is part of our ongoing series to help you dominate the game. Check out empirebuildacademy.com for more resources. Introduction to Francis Drake Every few weeks, Evony introduces a new general, and this week, it’s the legendary Francis Drake, a siege-focused general. Let’s explore his stats, specialties, and potential uses by heading into the game. Navigate to Recruits > Portraits > Siege Machine to find him—his dashing portrait stands out at the bottom! Francis Drake’s Stats and Abilities: Base Stats (Royal Navy Vice Admiral) : Increases siege machine attack and HP by 55%. Boosts siege machine defense by 40% when leading the army. Notably, the lack of an attack debuff makes him viable for wall defense—a rare trait for siege generals. Star Ascension Bonuses: 1-Star: Siege machine attack and defense +10% 2-Star: Attacking troop death to wounded rate +8% 3-Star: Siege machine attack +15%, HP +20% 4-Star: Range troop and siege machine defense and HP +20%. 5-Star: Attacking range troop and siege machine attack +35%, siege machine defense and HP +35%. Specialties : Siege Machine Defense: HP and defense +10%. Bash: Range troop and siege machine attack +10%. Siege Machine Arz: Attack, HP, and defense +10%. Circumnavigation: Siege machine attack +55%, defense +40%, HP +40%. Covenant Bonuses : Cooperation Covenant: Siege machine training speed +10%. Peace Covenant: Siege machine defense +10%. Faith Covenant: Reinforcing siege machine HP +5%. Honor Covenant: Attacking siege machine attack +10%. Civilization Covenant: Reinforcing siege machine attack +20%. Includes a modest 10% march size capacity boost, which is minimal for this general. Strategic Use : Wall or War? Francis Drake’s ability to be used on the wall sets him apart from typical siege generals, who are often relegated to offensive roles. His focus on siege machine stats (attack, HP, defense) makes him a strong defender, especially when paired with wall-mounted siege units. However, his limited march size capacity suggests he’s not ideal for leading large field armies. Are you planning to deploy him on your wall or as a war general? Let us know! Final Thoughts This guide wraps up our look at Francis Drake, the new Evony siege general available in 2025. His wall compatibility and impressive siege buffs offer unique strategic options. Share your plans for him in the comments—I’m eager to hear how you’ll use this historical figure in your empire! • Clash of Civilizations Battlefield in Evony: The Ultimate Guide to Victory

Clash of Civilization on Evony Clash of Civilizations Battlefield in Evony: The Ultimate Guide to Victory The Clash of Civilizations (CoC) battlefield in Evony: The King's Return is a thrilling, server-versus-server event that brings together top players from eight servers for intense strategic warfare. This guide dives into the mechanics, strategies, and rewards of the CoC battlefield, optimized for players searching for tips to dominate this epic event. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned monarch, this overview will help you master the Clash of Civilizations and claim top rewards. What is the Clash of Civilizations Battlefield? The Clash of Civilizations event is a two-stage competition in Evony designed to test your combat prowess and alliance coordination. The first stage, Clash of Civilizations – Assault, takes place on your home server, where players compete to earn scores by defeating event monsters and occupying buildings. The top 25 players from each server qualify for the second stage: the Clash of Civilizations Battlefield, a 2-hour showdown where 200 players (25 from each of eight servers) battle for supremacy. This event, updated as of January 15, 2024, offers unique mechanics, buffs, and rewards, making it a highlight of Evony's competitive landscape. How to Qualify for the Battlefield To participate in the Clash of Civilizations Battlefield, you must rank in the top 25 on your server during the Assault stage. This stage involves: Defeating Shadow of Dawn Monsters : These range from levels 1 to 10 and are easy to kill, similar to regular monsters, providing event scores. Occupying or Reinforcing Order of Dawn Buildings : Structures like Dawn Temple, Dawn Sanctuary, and Eclipse Strongholds yield scores when occupied. Defeating these buildings multiple times grants buffs, such as 30% healing for wounded troops or massive attack boosts (up to 150% for 10 minutes). The Assault stage typically runs for 2 days, and scores determine your eligibility for the battlefield. Coordinating with your alliance to target high-level monsters and buildings is key to securing a top spot. Clash of Civilizations Battlefield Mechanics The battlefield, lasting 2 hours with a 5-minute grace period, pits eight servers against each other in a dynamic map with unique buildings and objectives. Here’s how it works: Safe Zones and Initial Setup: Each server starts with five buildings in a Safe Zone, including an Empire City and Empire Turret. A 15-minute truce prevents attacks on Empire Cities at the start, allowing players to reinforce their own city. Key Buildings and Scoring : Empire City: Conquering another server’s Empire City (30 minutes of continuous occupation) grants a 15% bonus to your total scores. Occupying it earns 3–20 scores per second based on troop power (40M–120M). Blessing Tower (10 total) : Occupation provides a 20% server-wide attack and defense buff and 16 scores per minute. Empire Turret : Attacks enemy troops in the Empire City every 60 seconds, earning 500 scores per minute of occupation. Rally Hall (10 total) : Increases server rally capacity by 15%, earning 500 scores per minute. Battlefield Hospital (10 total): Boosts server healing speed by 60%, earning 500 scores per minute. Temple of Civilization : Located at the map’s center, occupation yields 10–40 scores per second based on troop power (40M–700M). Order of Dawn Buildings : These refresh periodically and require multiple attacks to defeat. Complete defeat grants buffs (e.g., 150% attack, defense, and HP for 10 minutes), and occupation before destruction earns high scores. Troop Kills : Killing 1,000,000 troops of levels 14 or 15 earns 240 or 280 scores, respectively. Battlefield Buffs : Players receive Solar Sight, Lunar Sight, and an Auxiliary Buff, which adds troops proportional to your server’s ranking, enhancing your combat power. The battlefield emphasizes server teamwork, with all players from the same server sharing a chat to coordinate rallies and strategies. Strategies for Success in Clash of Civilizations To excel in the CoC Battlefield, consider these tips : Prepare During the Assault Stage : Focus on defeating high-level Shadow of Dawn monsters (Lv7–10) for maximum scores. Scout Order of Dawn buildings to identify troop types (e.g., ground or siege-focused) and use layered marches to minimize losses. Coordinate with your alliance to rally against buildings, as multiple attacks are needed to defeat them. Battlefield Coordination : Use the server-wide chat or external platforms like Line to organize rallies and target key buildings like the Temple of Civilization or enemy Empire Cities. Prioritize occupying Blessing Towers early for server-wide buffs, boosting your team’s combat effectiveness. Reinforce your Empire City during the 15-minute truce to deter early attacks. Troop Management : Deploy high-power troops (40M–700M) for buildings like the Temple of Civilization to maximize scores. Use layered marches to reduce wounded troops, especially against Order of Dawn buildings with high-tier enemies (t13–t15). Leverage the Battlefield Hospital’s 60% healing speed buff to recover troops quickly. Alliance and Server Strategy : Work with your server’s top 25 players to focus on high-value targets like the Temple of Civilization or Rally Halls to boost rally capacity. Avoid internal conflicts, as all players from your server are on the same team. Maximize Buffs : Target Order of Dawn buildings for powerful buffs (e.g., Dawn Temple’s 150% attack boost) to gain an edge in battles. Use Auxiliary Buffs wisely, as they scale with your server’s ranking, providing extra troops for critical moments. Rewards and Rankings Rewards in the Clash of Civilizations Battlefield are distributed based on : Individual Scores : Earned through occupying buildings and killing enemy troops. Top players receive gems, resources, and exclusive items like avatar frames or castle decorations. Server Rankings : Servers are ranked by total scores, with top servers earning better rewards. Conquering an Empire City boosts your server’s score by 15%. Alliance Points : Alliances contribute to server scores, and high-ranking alliances receive additional rewards. Civilization Ultimate Battlefield : Top servers from the CoC Battlefield qualify for this elite event, starting September 1, 2024, with three stages (Preliminary, Semifinal, Final) and 512 spots. Only servers open for over 5 months are eligible. Community feedback notes that rewards in the Assault stage can be underwhelming, but the battlefield offers better payouts, especially for top 50 players. Free healing during the battlefield reduces resource costs, making it appealing for active players. Community Insights and Challenges The Evony community, particularly on Reddit’s r/Evony_TKR, highlights mixed sentiments about the event. Players appreciate the strategic depth but criticize the rewards for lower ranks and occasional bugs, such as events disappearing from the event center. Coordinating with other alliances on your server can be challenging, especially if server dynamics are competitive, but tools like Line chat improve communication. Some players view the event as a “pay-to-win” scheme targeting big spenders, but free-to-play players can still succeed with smart coordination. Why Play Clash of Civilizations? The Clash of Civilizations Battlefield is a must-play for Evony enthusiasts seeking competitive, large-scale battles. It combines elements of Battle of Gaugamela (BoG), Chalons, and Server vs. Server (SvS) warfare, offering a unique challenge. With strategic planning, alliance teamwork, and optimized troop deployment, you can lead your server to victory and earn exclusive rewards. Ready to dominate the Clash of Civilizations? Huge Update 5.0.0 on Evony Evony Version 5.0.0 Update : New Generals, Exciting Events, and Gameplay Enhancements Posted on June 5, 2025 The latest Evony: The King’s Return update, version 5.0.0, dropped on May 30, 2025, bringing a wave of fresh content to the popular mobile strategy game. In a recent YouTube video from EmpireBuildAcademy, host Favian breaks down the highlights of this major update, including two new generals, a slew of engaging events, and optimizations that enhance the player experience. Whether you’re a seasoned monarch or just starting your empire, this SEO-friendly guide dives into the key features of the Evony 5.0.0 update, offering tips to help you dominate the battlefield. Let’s explore what’s new and how to make the most of it! Key Highlights of the Evony 5.0.0 Update The version 5.0.0 update introduces exciting additions to Evony: The King’s Return, focusing on new generals, event variety, and gameplay optimizations. Below, we detail the major updates covered in the EmpireBuildAcademy video, optimized for players searching for Evony strategies, new generals, and event guides. 1. Two New Generals: Helena and Artemisia I The update introduces two powerful generals, each bringing unique buffs to enhance your army’s performance: Helena : As a Holy Palace Officer, Helena boosts healing speed by 20% and increases ranged troops and siege machines’ attack, defense, and HP by 15%. Her specialties and ascension perks make her a top-tier choice for players focusing on defensive strategies or healing efficiency. Favian highlights her as a “really decent” addition, ideal for managing wounded troops during intense battles like Server vs. Server (SvS) or Clash of Civilizations. Artemisia I : A ranged-focused general, Artemisia I offers a massive 55% boost to ranged troops’ attack and defense and 35% to HP when leading an army to attack. While she lacks a base march size buff, her three-star ascension provides a 10% march size increase, making her a strong contender for ranged-focused players. Favian notes her title as the “Queen of Caria” and invites community feedback on whether she outshines existing ranged generals. These generals, available through the Tavern’s recruit system, add new strategic depth, encouraging players to experiment with army compositions and event tactics. 2. New and Returning Events The update is packed with events, offering players multiple ways to earn rewards like resources, blazons, and exclusive items. Favian highlights several key events: Lucky Bag Strike Event : A gem-based draw event where players can earn random rewards, including the coveted Golden Lucky Gift. These gifts, stored in temporary storage, can be exchanged for rewards using Golden Lucky Bags, obtained by defeating monsters, gathering resources, or purchasing event packages. Favian notes the event’s daily draw limits and the need to manage storage space to continue drawing. He praises its value, especially at a 10,000-coin cost for certain rewards, calling it “pretty decent” and worth participating in. Tomb Expedition Event : This new event sends players on an adventurous journey to unlock the Officer Equipment Scroll Chest No. 2, containing all six Consul and Hospital officer equipment pieces. Collecting multiple pieces unlocks powerful set attributes, boosting your officers’ effectiveness. Favian briefly mentions this event, noting its appeal for players seeking to enhance their officer gear. Divination of Fate : A new event offering additional rewards, though specific details are not covered in the video. It’s accessible via the Event Center and likely involves tasks like monster hunting or resource gathering. Returning Events : Favian also mentions ongoing events like Ranger Night Order, Hypnos Dream, Grace of Star Trail, Blessing of Palace, Sulish Wishing Pool, Super Feeding Event, and Consuming Return Event. The Consuming Return Event, appearing three times consecutively, is particularly exciting for Favian, as it provides stamina rewards, helping players maintain activity during resource-heavy events. The Revelation of Horus and Arctic Barbarians events are also live, with the former starting the day after the video’s release. These events keep the game engaging, offering both free-to-play (F2P) and paying players opportunities to earn valuable rewards. 3. Gameplay Optimizations The update includes several quality-of-life improvements to streamline gameplay : Rally Monthly Card Optimization: Improved level selection icons for auto-join rallies against boss monsters. A square appears when some levels are selected, and a check mark shows when all levels are chosen, making it easier to configure rallies in the Alliance War tab. March Preset Selection: Selected marches now display a check mark, while unselected marches show no icon, improving clarity when setting up auto-join marches. Civilization Card Enhancements : The update refines the Civilization Card system, showing card preview probabilities, collection progress on compose, recycle, and list pages, and adding four quick-action buttons (compose, recycle, exchange, card pack). The exchange confirmation page now displays both players’ collection statuses, and issues with abnormal card displays post-exchange have been fixed. Great General Chest Update : A new points-based chest reward system grants points for each Key of Conscription used. Accumulating enough points unlocks a points chest. An “Open All” button allows players to spend all keys at once, streamlining the process of opening general chests in the Tavern. These optimizations enhance usability, particularly for alliance coordination and card management, making gameplay more intuitive. 4. Additional Notes Favian emphasizes the importance of updating the Evony app to version 5.0.0 to access these new generals and events, as some players may not see them otherwise. He also shares event details on his website, empireacademy.com, and the YouTube community tab, providing a one-stop resource for players seeking additional information. Strategic Tips for the 5.0.0 Update To maximize your success with the Evony 5.0.0 update, consider these tips: Leverage New Generals : Recruit Helena for healing-focused strategies in events like Arctic Barbarians, and use Artemisia I for ranged-heavy attacks in Clash of Civilizations. Experiment with their ascension perks to unlock additional buffs like march size. Participate in Events : Prioritize the Lucky Bag Strike and Tomb Expedition events for high-value rewards like Golden Lucky Gifts and officer equipment. Use monster kills and resource gathering to earn Golden Lucky Bags without spending gems. Optimize Rally and March Settings : Take advantage of the updated rally and march preset icons to streamline alliance coordination, especially for boss monster rallies in events like Revelation of Horus. Manage Civilization Cards : Use the new quick-action buttons and exchange features to complete your card collections efficiently, boosting your empire’s buffs. Stock Up on Stamina : Focus on the Consuming Return Event to earn stamina, as Favian notes its frequent recurrence makes it ideal for maintaining activity during resource-intensive events. Check for Updates : Ensure your app is updated to version 5.0.0 to access all new features and events. Visit empireacademy.com for detailed event guides. Community Reactions and Insights While specific feedback on version 5.0.0 is limited in the video, the Evony community on platforms like Reddit’s r/Evony_TKR offers context. Players generally welcome new generals and events, with one Reddit post praising the strategic depth of updates like 4.96.0 (April 2025). However, there’s ongoing debate about monetization, with some criticizing the high cost of premium items (e.g., $350 for past event generals). Favian’s enthusiasm for events like Lucky Bag Strike suggests they’re F2P-friendly, but players may need to balance gem spending with free rewards from monster kills and resource gathering. Why This Update Matters The Evony 5.0.0 update is a game-changer, introducing powerful generals like Helena and Artemisia I, a variety of engaging events, and user-friendly optimizations. These changes enhance strategic depth, making it an exciting time to dive into Evony: The King’s Return. • Server Merge on Evony May 2025: Are You Being Merged? | Empire Build Academy

Server Merge on Evony Evony Server Merge May 2025 : What You Need to Know to Thrive The Evony: The King's Return community is buzzing with the latest server merge announcement, detailed in a recent video by Favian from Empire Build Academy, published on May 30, 2025. This update, tied to the first server merger of 2025, promises to shake up gameplay by combining servers for a more competitive and engaging experience. Whether you're a seasoned monarch or facing your first merge, this SEO-friendly blog post breaks down the key details, impacts, and strategies to help you navigate the changes. Let’s dive into the May 2025 server merge and how it affects your Evony journey! What is the Evony Server Merge? Announced on May 27, 2025, by Top Games Inc., the first server merger of 2025 aims to enhance gameplay by merging pairs of servers into a shared world map, as detailed in Favian’s video Huge Update Evony 5 00 0 and the official Evony News Center Evony News. The merge combines servers based on their Server vs. Server (SvS) rankings, with the higher-ranked server determining the new server’s number. For example, Favian shares his experience of moving from server 1525 to 1429 in a previous merge, highlighting the disruptions and opportunities that come with such changes. Key points of the merge include : Shared World Map : Players from both servers share the same map but can log in through their original server access. Preserved Personal Data : All progress, including building levels, VIP status, gems, gold, resources, subordinate cities, generals, troops, and items, remains intact. Alliance Changes : Alliances persist, but alliance buildings like the Alliance City are removed and must be rebuilt (at no cost if previously built). Alliance donations and stored resources reappear after rebuilding the Alliance Warehouse. Reset Mechanics : Competitions like Throne War restart 24 hours post-merge, Monarch Competition and Undead Event records are reset, and world chat messages are deleted. Monarch names may gain a number (e.g., Evony 1, Evony 2) to avoid duplicates. The merge targets servers with low activity, such as older servers like 107 and 209, to boost competition and engagement. However, the exact date remains vague, described as “in the near future,” leaving players to prepare strategically. How the Server Merge Impacts Gameplay Favian emphasizes the significant impact of server merges on event rankings and competition dynamics. Here’s a detailed look at what changes: Increased Competition in Events : Events like Blood of Ares or Tactics Researching see tougher competition post-merge due to a larger pool of active players. Favian notes that he previously ranked in the top 5 for Blood of Ares but now struggles to hit the top 20, requiring more tactical spending and planning. This shift affects players who rely on high rankings for rewards, as new players from the merged server may outpace existing rankings. Alliance and Subordinate City Dynamics : Alliance buildings are removed, and players are randomly teleported on the new world map, requiring alliances to rebuild strategically. Subordinate cities are preserved, with the higher-ranked server retaining its NPC sub-cities, while the lower-ranked server’s NPC sub-cities are removed. Bookmarks are also deleted, as they become obsolete. Potential Data Concerns : Favian raises a question about saved in-game mail, noting that during his previous merge, some messages were lost. He’s unsure if this was a bug or due to unsaved messages, and invites community feedback to clarify whether players need to save important mails before the merge. This uncertainty highlights the importance of preparing for potential data glitches. Reset Resources and Events : Resource spots, monsters, and relics reset, and troops outside return to the city, altering resource-gathering strategies. Competitions like Monarch Competition reset, with rewards for the last stage sent out, providing a fresh start but potentially disrupting ongoing progress. Strategic Tips for the May 2025 Server Merge To thrive during and after the server merge, consider these SEO-friendly strategies inspired by Favian’s insights and community advice : Prepare for Event Ranking Shifts : Before the merge, maximize your participation in events like Blood of Ares or Voyage to Civilizations to secure high rankings and rewards. Use resources strategically to boost your score, as post-merge competition will be fiercer. Favian suggests being “more tactical” with spending, focusing on high-value actions to maintain rankings. Secure Subordinate Cities : Ensure your subordinate cities are set up before the merge, as prestige rankings may drop, reducing sub-city slots. Community tips from Theria Games recommend capturing desired subs before the merge to avoid losing slots. Coordinate with Your Alliance : Rebuild the Alliance City immediately after the merge, as it costs no resources or time if previously built. Coordinate with alliance members to choose a strategic location on the new map. Reach out to the merging server’s players, as Favian suggests, to discuss rules like Non-Aggression Pacts (NAPs) or king selection for a smoother transition. Save Important Mails : Until clarified, save critical in-game mails to avoid potential loss, as Favian experienced in his previous merge. Check the comments section of his video for community updates on this issue. Stay Informed on Merge Timing : The announcement’s vague “in the near future” timeline means players should monitor official Evony channels or community forums like r/Evony_TKR for updates. Past merges, like those in August 2024, provided 10 days’ notice, but recent trends suggest shorter timelines. Community Reactions and Insights The Evony community, particularly on Reddit’s r/Evony_TKR, has mixed feelings about server merges. Some players view them positively, as Favian does, noting that they make SvS battles more competitive and engaging. A Reddit post from January 2025 highlights how merges can address power imbalances by revitalizing “dead” servers with low activity. However, others express concerns about losing rankings or dealing with toxic dynamics from merged servers, with one user noting, “Some server mergers make you realize you only thought your server had issues.” Favian’s call for community feedback on mail preservation and merge experiences underscores the importance of player collaboration. His video encourages viewers to share their insights in the comments, fostering a sense of community engagement. Why the Server Merge Matters The May 2025 server merge, as detailed by Favian, is a game-changer for Evony players. It revitalizes quieter servers, boosts competition, and aligns with the Civilization Celebration events launched concurrently, offering rewards like Civilization Scrolls and Star Goddess’ Box. While it introduces challenges like tougher event rankings and potential data concerns, it also creates opportunities for new strategies and alliances. Final Thoughts and Next Steps The May 2025 server merge is a pivotal moment for Evony: The King’s Return players, as highlighted in Empire Build Academy’s video. By preparing for increased competition, securing your subordinate cities, and coordinating with your alliance, you can turn this merge into an opportunity to grow your empire. Favian’s insights, combined with community tips, provide a roadmap for navigating these changes successfully. Are you facing the May 2025 server merge? Below, we detail every building, its purpose, and strategic tips to optimize its use. Core Buildings and Their Purposes 1. Keep Purpose: The Keep is the heart of your city, determining your overall progression. Its level dictates which other buildings can be constructed or upgraded and unlocks higher-level features, such as puzzle stages and advanced troops. Max Level: 40 Key Benefits: Higher Keep levels increase your monarch power, unlock new buildings (e.g., Art Hall at Keep level 11), and allow access to higher-tier puzzle stages. It’s the central hub for city management. Strategic Tip: Always prioritize upgrading the Keep, but ensure prerequisite buildings (e.g., Walls, Academy) are maxed out first. Research in the Academy before upgrading the Keep to boost gameplay success. 2. Walls Purpose: Walls are your city’s first line of defense, protecting against enemy attacks. They support trap construction, allow assigning a defense general, and enable patrolling and collecting server gifts. Max Level: Varies by Keep level Key Benefits: Upgrading increases trap capacity, wall defense, and HP. Assigning a strong defense general enhances city protection. Strategic Tip: Keep Walls at the highest level possible to maximize trap capacity and defense. Research trap-related technologies in the Academy to bolster defenses. 3. Warehouse Purpose: Protects a portion of your resources (food, lumber, stone, iron) from being plundered by enemies or consumed during upgrades. Max Level: Varies by Keep level Key Benefits: Higher levels protect more resources, ensuring you retain materials during attacks or heavy construction phases. Strategic Tip: Upgrade the Warehouse early to safeguard resources, especially if you’re active in PvP or SvS events. Combine with resource-gathering strategies to maintain a steady supply. 4. Academy Purpose: The Academy is where you research upgrades to enhance your empire’s strength, including troop stats, resource production, and construction speed. Use Speedups wisely to accelerate research. 5. Archer Tower Purpose: Provides additional defense by attacking enemy troops during city sieges. Max Level: Varies by Keep level Key Benefits: Upgrading increases defense power and HP, making your city harder to conquer. Strategic Tip: Upgrade alongside Walls to create a robust defense system. Assign a ranged-focused general to enhance Archer Tower effectiveness during attacks. 6. Barracks Purpose: Trains ground troops (e.g., swordsmen, spearmen) for battles and resource gathering. Max Level: Varies by Keep level Key Benefits: Higher levels unlock advanced ground troop types and increase training speed and capacity. Strategic Tip: Build multiple Barracks to boost training capacity. Focus on ground troops for balanced armies, especially for early-game monster hunting. 7. Archer Camp Purpose: Trains ranged troops (e.g., archers, crossbowmen) for combat and resource gathering. Max Level: Varies by Keep level Key Benefits: Upgrading unlocks higher-tier ranged troops and boosts training speed and capacity. Ranged troops are effective against certain enemy types. Arsenal Purpose: Upgrades troop levels (e.g., from level 10 to 11), increasing their strength and effectiveness. Max Level: Varies by Keep level Key Benefits: Higher levels allow upgrading to higher-tier troops, crucial for late-game battles. Strategic Tip: Focus on Arsenal upgrades after building a sizable army to enhance troop power for events like SvS or Arctic Barbarians. 16. Bunker Purpose: Protects troops from being killed during attacks, reducing losses. Max Level: Varies by Keep level Key Benefits: Higher levels increase troop protection capacity, preserving your army during PvP or SvS. Farm, Sawmill, Quarry, Iron Mine Purpose: Produces resources (food, lumber, stone, iron) to support construction, research, and troop training. Max Level: Varies by Keep level Key Benefits: Higher levels increase resource production rates, though gathering from the world map is faster for large-scale needs. Strategic Tip: Build and upgrade multiple resource buildings early, but prioritize world map gathering with siege units for efficiency, as BlueStacks suggests. Strategic Tips for Building Management Prioritize Key Buildings: Focus on the Keep, Academy, and Walls early to unlock features and strengthen defenses. Upgrade resource buildings and troop training facilities (Barracks, Archer Camp, Stables, Workshop) to support growth. Use Speedups Wisely: Avoid auto-using Speedups, as Empire Build Academy advises, to save them for critical upgrades like the Keep or Academy. Choose the Right Culture: Select a culture that aligns with your goals (e.g., Korea for faster lumber production, Japan for food) to boost specific building efficiencies. Alliance Synergy: Join a strong alliance to share resources and rally support, making War Hall and Rally Spot upgrades more impactful. Balance Offense and Defense: Upgrade offensive buildings (e.g., Barracks, Stables) for events like Arctic Barbarians, and defensive buildings (e.g., Walls, Trap Factory) for PvP protection. Community Insights and Considerations The Evony community, particularly on Reddit’s r/Evony_TKR, emphasizes the importance of strategic building upgrades to stay competitive. Players note that neglecting buildings like the Academy or Warehouse can hinder progress, especially in PvP-heavy servers. However, some criticize the game’s monetization, as premium upgrades often require gems or real-money purchases, a sentiment echoed in reviews on the App Store. Free-to-play players can succeed by focusing on resource gathering and event participation, but strategic building management is key. Conclusion Buildings in Evony: The King’s Return are the backbone of your empire, each serving a unique role in growth, defense, and combat.
