Even if your main interest lies in epic battles, it's crucial for your city to thrive and prosper. Building and maintaining various structures is essential as it ensures a healthy growth and provides necessary resources for your mighty army. Therefore, before you embark on conquest, mastering the art of construction is a must!

THE IMPORTANCE OF BUILDINGS
Constructing buildings is crucial because they provide all the necessary resources and tools to effectively manage and expand your kingdom. By constructing buildings, you gain access to a wide range of benefits:
Resources such as food, wood, iron, and silver are readily available.
You can recruit various types of troops including infantry, bowmen, cavalry, and siege units.
Enhance your Lord Power, which plays a significant role in determining the strength of your kingdom.
Conduct researches to unlock new technologies and strategies.
Facilitate goods exchange between alliance members, fostering strong cooperation.
Among these advantages, "Lord Power" stands out as the most vital. The overall power of your kingdom heavily relies on the strength of your Lords who govern it. Increasing your Lord Power can be achieved by earning LP (Lord Power) points through constructing and upgrading buildings. In the screenshot provided, you can see that we currently possess a total of 176,651 Lord Power, with 122,982 points originating from buildings. To help you better understand the significance of each building, we will also mention the number of LP points you can gain from them in this guide.
Building Categories
In the game King of Avalon, buildings play a crucial role and can be grouped into four main categories: resource, troop, alliance, and others. It's important to note that each building has the potential to be upgraded up to level 40. The tables you will find below contain data specifically tailored for level 40 buildings. Also, bear in mind that one building or upgrade is dependent on another. For example, in order to construct an Iron Mine, your Stronghold needs to be at least level 10. Similarly, if you wish to enhance your Stronghold to level 9, you will first need to have a University at level 7.
Let's start with the resource buildings. The farm building serves the purpose of producing and storing food, which is essential for supporting your city and army. As you progress in the game, you will require approximately 35,000 food per day during the end-game phase. Therefore, we highly recommend building at least 5 farms and upgrading all of them. This ensures that your storage capacity is replenished every 10 hours.

The sawmill is essential for producing and storing wood, which is an important resource for upgrading buildings. However, once you've completed all the upgrades, the need for wood decreases. It is recommended to build at least 5 sawmills until you reach the end-game phase. After completing all upgrades, you can decrease the number of sawmills. Keep in mind that the storage capacity will be filled every 10 hours.

Storehouse: The key advantage of this building lies in safeguarding your stored resources from potential enemy attacks. Having one Storehouse should suffice until the end-game phase, but it's advisable to construct an additional one once your Stronghold reaches level 15.
