Fancy setting up some snares for the hordes? Trap research is your ultimate guide. This branch improves the effectiveness of your traps, such as trap capacity, trap building speed, and trap attack.
Operations Research

Research Lab Functions
Just like its name suggests, the Research Lab in your settlement is where your Doctor can carry out research. But did you know that this facility offers more than just research capabilities? You can also use the Research Lab to boost the number of biocaps you have.
One of the extra features of the Research Lab is the Incubator, which allows you to deposit your biocaps and watch them grow over time. Think of it like a bank that earns interest on your money – the Incubator does the same with your biocaps. You can choose growth options for periods of 1 Day, 7 Days, 15 Days, and 30 Days. The 1 Day option will need to be unlocked through a purchase.
If you have extra Biocaps that you won't use right away, plop them in the incubator for a boost in the future - super easy, right? This will come in handy later on when your facilities need longer construction times, and you'll want to speed things up with Biocaps.
On the other hand, the Research Lab allows you to dive into different fields and learn passive buffs that can help with your settlement's development, battles, and economy. Researching is key because it can up your resource production and make your army stronger for survival.
