Getting Started with the Hypnos Dream Event

To begin, navigate to the Event Center in Evony. Scroll down to locate the Hypnos Dream Event, which is live now. Once inside, you’ll need to select your desired rewards before starting—this is the only setup step not covered here, so choose wisely based on your needs (e.g., Tactic Scrolls, Blood of Ares, or Dragon Coins). Click the Information tab for the full rundown:

Event Mechanics: Complete 30 levels per dream round, selecting from four dream crystals per level. Each crystal hides either a Sweet Dream (awarding a random chosen reward) or a Nightmare (requiring Hypnos to dispel).

Risk Factor: Hit a Nightmare without enough Hypnos, and you’ll fail the round, losing an attempt and all progress. Quitting midway or failing counts against your daily attempt limit.

Reset Details: All quest progress resets post-event, and unused Hypnos vanishes, so use them wisely.

How to Play: Daily Free Uses and Crystal SelectionThe key resource here is Hypnos, visible in the event interface. You start with one daily free use—click Use Daily Free to access your four crystals. I’m currently on level 19 of 30, with rewards accumulating from my initial selections. Each successful pick adds to your prize pool, delivered after completing the round.

Strategy in Action

I picked a crystal—fingers crossed for no skulls! Success! That’s added to my haul. However, at level 23, a Nightmare (skull) appeared. With seven levels left and plenty of event time (over a week), my daily free uses should get me to 30. If I run out, packs offer extra attempts (up to 10 total), but I’m aiming to finish F2P.

Tip: Aim for level 10 on your first run. If you hit 4-6 levels before a skull, restart with remaining attempts to push further—ideal for stacking rewards across multiple rounds.

Maximizing Rewards and Avoiding Pitfalls

Reward Accumulation: My current earnings (from levels 1-19) plus future wins (19-30) will finalize at the end. Canceling resets everything, so persevere unless you’re strategizing a fresh start.

Daily Limit: Use your free Hypnos daily to stretch progress. With seven days left, I expect to complete before the deadline—my last run hit 5-6 levels pre-skull.

Pack Option: If short on attempts, packs boost your chances, but F2P players can succeed with patience and timing.
