Evony Monarch Competition Update 2025: Tiered Changes Revealed

Welcome back to the Empire Build Academy! I’m Favian, and on this Monday afternoon (June 19, 2025, 11:18 AM BST), I’m excited to share a recent update to the Evony Monarch Competition. This change, noticed on my new speed-build account, now applies to older accounts too. Let’s dive into the PC version and explore!

What’s New: Tiered Monarch Competition

The traditional Monarch Competition has evolved into a Tiered Monarch Competition, accessible via the Event Center. Here’s the breakdown:

• Group Assignment: Based on your keep level, you’re placed in groups (e.g., K38, K39 for me). Groups range from Novice to Super, with higher keep levels unlocking better rewards. If your keep level rises during the event, you’ll be reassigned.

• Daily Themes: Each day features a unique task. Today’s theme is General Enhancing. Tasks include:

  • Consume 1 Blood of Ares for 10 points.

  • Use 100 General EXP for 0.1 points, scaling up to 20K General EXP.

  • Recruit generals for additional points.

• Rewards: Three chests offer escalating rewards:

  • Final chest: 1,600 gems, 2 Blood of Ares, 1 Blazing Chest, 5 General Invitations.

• Monarch Ranking: Compete daily against players from multiple servers (e.g., 1,447 participants noted). Top ranks earn big:

  • 1st Place: 99,000 gems, 35 Blood of Ares, 40 12-hour speedups, resources, and research stones.

Competition Support Pack

A new pack provides a 20% daily score bonus upon purchase, with theme-specific rewards. It’s optional but enhances your scoring potential—decide if it fits your strategy!

Event Details

• Duration: 7 days, with daily theme and task changes.

• Scoring: Complete tasks to hit daily targets for score and ranking rewards, distributed once daily to all with scores above zero.

Is This an Improvement?

This shift to cross-server competition adds excitement but raises questions. Is it a genuine upgrade, or just a nudge to buy packs? On my old account, this was absent, but my new account had it pre-installed. The info tab confirms the tiered structure, but the pack push feels familiar.
