What is Storm Ruins Battlefield?
The Storm Ruins Battlefield is a seasonal 10-minute match featuring random 5v5 team-ups across all servers for monarchs with Keep Level 35+. Each season includes four rounds over two weeks, with 15 matches per round. Victory hinges on occupying key buildings and earning scores, making it a building-focused event rather than a direct troop-kill fest.
Key Buildings and Scoring
Here’s a breakdown of the battlefield’s critical structures:
Storm Fortress
The Storm Fortress becomes occupiable two minutes after the battle starts. Reinforced occupation yields 120 battlefield scores per second.
Blessing Towers (2)
Each Blessing Tower provides 70 scores per second when reinforced. Occupying both boosts team attack and defense by 20%, stacking if both are held.
Sandstorm Cannons (2)
These earn 20 scores per second when reinforced. They attack enemy troops in occupied buildings every 15 seconds.
Supply Boxes

Strategies for Success
Based on my playtest, here are top strategies:
Prioritize Building Occupation: Focus on capturing and reinforcing the Storm Fortress and Blessing Towers early for maximum points and buffs.
Reinforce Continuously: Points accrue only with reinforcement, so coordinate with teammates to hold buildings.
Monitor Chat: Stay active in the battlefield chat to track rallies, reinforcements, and enemy movements.
Join Rallies: If a building is occupied, join rallies to reclaim it rather than attacking solo.
Target Supply Boxes: Seize these for a quick 1,500-point boost when they spawn.
My First Playtest Experience
I joined a random 5v5 match with mysterious monarchs. The 10-minute duration flew by, and the action was intense. I spawned near a building, occupied it, and reinforced others as the team slowly coordinated. Initial inactivity from teammates was a challenge, but chat activity picked up mid-battle. We occupied all buildings with 24 seconds left, securing an instant victory (61,000 vs. 13,000 scores). However, I noticed:
