Is George Monck a great general in Evony?

Definitely! He shines when leading Mounted Troops in PvP and against Monsters. His Special Skill, Monarch Restoration, gives an impressive 50% boost to mounted attack and 40% to their HP and Defence when facing Dragons or Spiritual Beasts. Plus, he has no Skill Book restrictions, making it easy to enhance his abilities without much effort. Keep in mind that he can be a bit hard to obtain, so he might be better suited as an Assistant rather than a main general. Just remember, most of his buffs are only active during attacks, so he's best used in offensive situations rather than defence.

When George Monck is leading the army in an attack, mounted troops' attack increases by 50%. Additionally, when he brings along a Dragon or Spiritual Beast to attack, both ground troops and mounted troops' defence and HP get a 40% boost.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

When George Monck ascends, he gets some awesome buffs to his Special Skill based on his star level. Check them out:

1 Star: George gets Marching Mounted Troop Defence boosted by 15% and HP boosted by 15%.

2 Star: The next level up gives George a Marching Troop Death into Wounded Rate increase of 8%.

3 Star: When you go on the attack, your Mounted Troops will be even more powerful with a +35% Attack boost, and your March Size Capacity will increase by +8%.

4 Star: Both your Marching Ground Troops and Mounted Troops will receive a +15% boost to Attack and an additional +15% to HP.

5 Star: Prepare to dominate the battlefield with a massive +40% Attack boost for your Marching Mounted Troops, as well as a substantial +25% Defence and HP increase.
