The Evony TKR Reddit Community

The Evony TKR subreddit is an amazing resource for players, offering a space to ask questions, share tips, and discuss everything Evony-related. From spiritual beast queries to game-freezing glitches, it’s a hub of valuable advice. Unfortunately, I can no longer participate due to a ban, though I can still read posts.

How I Got Banned

My ban stemmed from a misunderstanding about a post I made. I created a “nine-step process to dominate the battle” guide, covering beginner tips, construction, research, troops, heroes, defense, attack, and game events. I shared this on the Evony TKR subreddit, linking to my YouTube channel and website. My intent was to help players, not to sell anything.

However, the moderators interpreted my post as an attempt to promote a paid service, which violates subreddit rules. The post was removed, and I received a ban notice: “You’re currently banned from this community and can’t comment on posts.” Despite my explanations that I wasn’t selling anything, my appeals were ignored.

My Reflection

I understand why the moderators acted—my “nine-step process” title and website link could have been misconstrued as a sales pitch. Looking back, I should have been more careful with wording and considered how it might appear. I hold no grudge against the Evony TKR team; it was an honest mistake on my part.

What I’m Doing Next

Though I can’t post or comment anymore, I still value the subreddit’s insights. I’ll continue reading to stay informed while focusing on my YouTube videos and website.
