Evony: 2 Hidden Features Players Are Still Missing in 2025

Welcome back to the Empire Build Academy! I’m Favian, and today I’m highlighting two lesser-known features in Evony that players might still be overlooking as of June 2025. I’ve covered one issue before, but a new one has caught my attention. Let’s dive in!

Feature 1: Setting Up Troop Layers in March Presets

One feature that’s flying under the radar is the ability to customize troop layers in your March presets. Here’s how to do it:

• Access March Presets: Go to your March preset menu. You’ll see various setups, like my 2.5 million troop configuration.

• Enable Layers: Long-press the preset icon. This opens a box where you can adjust tiers. For example, hold to set four tiers.

• Customize Layers: In the box, input your desired troop count per layer (e.g., 50 for each). Hit “OK,” then click the green “Full Tiers” button to apply it across all layers.

This method streamlines adding layers to all presets, saving time and ensuring balanced marches. It’s a game-changer for efficient troop management!

Feature 2: Optimizing Monster Hunt Auto-Join

Another overlooked tool is the Monster Hunt auto-join feature. I use it, and you should too, but with a tweak:

• Check Auto-Join Settings: Access the Monster Hunt menu. I’ve joined multiple hunts, but some players target low-tier monsters unnecessarily.

• Set Level Filters: For example, in the Viking Hell hunt, I’ve set it to kill Level 31+ monsters only. Similarly, in the Cerberus hunt, I’ve deselected Levels 1-2, focusing on Levels 3-4.

• Why It Matters: This ensures you tackle higher-tier monsters for better rewards, maximizing your effort.

Adjusting these settings prevents wasting time on weak foes—perfect for boosting your progress!
